Stephen J. Remboski, CFA is Chief Compliance Officer at Belmont Capital Group. Steve joined the firm in 2014 and has over 30 years of investment industry experience focusing on operations, compliance and performance reporting.
Steve began his career with Wilshire Associates where he was Vice President and Product Manager of the Trust Universe Comparison Service (TUCS), an investment performance peer group comparison service. He next joined the Performance Analytics department of the Bank of New York as Vice President and manager of the western region operations where he worked directly with the sponsors of institutional investment programs. Steve then joined Aletheia Research and Management as Vice President, Performance Analytics where he was responsible for performance reporting and Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) compliance. He most recently was Vice President and Product Manager at Cairn Investment Performance Consulting, a provider of customized investment performance measurement solutions and GIPS consulting services for investment advisory firms.
Steve is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder, and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Los Angeles. He is past Chair of the Audit and Accounting Committee of the CFA Society of Los Angeles and also served on the United States Investment Performance Committee (USIPC).
Steve holds an MBA from California State University, Northridge, and a B.S. in Computer Science from Central Michigan University.
